The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation and the Assets Forfeiture Unit in the Northern Cape have secured a final forfeiture order against Bradley Slingers, former CFO of the Department of Roads and Public Works. The Kimberley High Court granted the order on November 7, 2024. Slingers, 58, was arrested on November 16, 2023, after police found R200,000 in cash during a roadblock. Further searches revealed three additional bags containing undisclosed amounts, totaling R679,200. Slingers failed to provide a reasonable explanation for the money
