Infrastructure
South Africa (ISA) has officially opened the bid window for project preparation
support, inviting government bodies and state-owned entities (SOEs) to submit
proposals for infrastructure projects in need of preparation assistance. The
initiative, aimed at fostering the development of critical infrastructure
across the country, allows public sector organizations to apply for support in
the early stages of project planning, including feasibility studies, design,
and financial structuring. By providing these resources, ISA hopes to enhance
the readiness of projects for implementation, ultimately contributing to the
nation’s economic growth and development. To promote the bid window and
encourage submissions, Infrastructure South Africa is conducting a series of
Provincial Roadshows. These events, which are designed to engage stakeholders
and provide information on the application process, are currently underway. The
roadshow made its latest stop in the Northern Cape today, where local
government representatives and SOE officials gathered to learn more about the
opportunities available.Â
