The South African Police Service is encouraging safety amongst community members as the country braces for extreme cold weather conditions. Police spokesperson Colonel Cherelle Ehlers urged members of the community to keep heaters away from flammable must refrain from drying wet or damp fabrics or clothes on an electric heater amongst others.
