Police arrested 2 suspects with dagga in Springbok

The South African Police Service says they have arrested 2 men during crime prevention patrols on the N7 freeway in Springbok. The police says the suspects were arrested with dagga worth R350 000-00 today, the 3rd July 2024. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Sergio Kock says police noticed the suspicious truck stopped and searched and they confiscated 11 bags of dagga concealed between food crates in the back of the vehicle. Kock says police arrested a 32 year old driver and his 26 year old passenger they will appear at Springbok magistrate’s court soon.
