The South African Police Service is warning female to always ensure that they are aware of their surroundings when outdoors. The police is also advising that female should avoid being alone in isolated places amongst others. Police spokesperson sergeant Merapelo Pilane says the safety of the community remains a priority for the police that female should make use of these tips to avoid falling victim of rape.
