SolarAfrica Unveils Groundbreaking 343MW Project in Northern Cape

According to Energy Expert Chris Yelland, SolarAfrica Energy is set to build a R5-billion solar project called SunCentral in the Northen Cape. The project aims to generate 343 MegaWatt of clean, renewable electricity, surpassing Solar Capital's De Aar compound. With plans to expand to 1,000 MW in phases, SolarAfrica aims to become a renewable energy powerhouse. According to MybroadBand, the project is part of Eskom's strategic partnership with the private sector, including Vodacom, to drive a more rational, market-driven approach to electricity pricing. The project aims to deliver clean, cost-effective energy and pave the way for a sustainable, equitable energy future for all South Africans.
