The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr. Zamani Saul, delivered his Inaugural Address this morning at the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in Kimberley. Saul emphasized the critical and important role the youth plays in future developments of the province in light of Youth Month activities underway in the country Saul in his address said that the youth comprises of 60 % of the population of the province , the largest cohort of the overall population for the Northern Cape. He said that young people should become actively involve in developmental activities as co-creators. He said that the provincial government has committed to address challenges faced by young people in the province. Furthermore, he stated that young people in the province must have jobs and access to job opportunities. Saul was sworn in as the seventh democratically elected premier of the Northern Cape on 14 June 2024.
