Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) in collaboration with Cross Boarder Road Transport Agency (CBRTA), ABSA Bank as well as the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS), will commemorate Youth Day on Thursday, 27 June with a National Youth in Business Fair in Upington. Bongiwe Thatelo, Market Stakeholder Relations Manager for Seda states that this event seeks to empower youth, inspire creativity, and promote economic growth. According to Thatelo, it will further provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their talents, products, and services while fostering networking opportunities, mentorship, and education in entrepreneurship. Thatelo says the event coincides with the 48th anniversary of the Soweto uprising on June 16 and will take place under the theme: Actively embracing the socioeconomic gains of our democracy.
