The sol plaaitjie university this past week hosted their 2024 Talent Pipeline Programme. The university says through this program a cohort of learners is selected based on their academic potential, and thereafter spend time on the campus attending classes and engaging in extra mural activities as well. The university says the group for 2024 arrived on campus on 16 June and from the beginning of the week attended classes in mathematics, science, digital literacy, diversity, and life skills and thereafter wrapped up the week with a sports day featuring soccer, netball, touch rugby, tug of war, and an egg race. The university says this years group included 104 learners from all four districts in the Northern Cape: 45 grade 12s, 42 grade 11s, and 17 grade 10s.
