Police arrested 2 men aged 24 in possession of mandrax tablets hidden in a match box and a portable music speaker in Prieska yesterday, the 12th June 2024. Police spokesperson sergeant Molefi Shemane says both suspects were arrested for possession of drugs with an estimated street value of R10 330-00. Shemane says police conducted patrols along the Niekerkshoop and Prieska road when they stopped 2 men walking on the road towards the direction of Niekerkshoop who started running away when approached by the police. He says the suspects will appear in court soon.
