As the country is set to commemorate and observe youth day this coming sunday on 16th june 2024, the provincial government also fall in line as annually conducted and will be having their own youth day celebrations on the 17th june 2024. Youth day will this year be celebrated under the theme "actively advancing socioeconomic gains of our democracy". The youth day celebrations for the northern cape will be taking place in Postmansburg at the postmansburg showgrounds this year while the key note address of this event will be done by premier Dr zamani saul. The event is scheduled to begin from 08:30 in the morning and the provincial government encourages all resident of the area to attend the event most especially the youth themselves.
