The Executive mayor of the John Taolo Gaestewe district has extended a letter to the community, thanking residents for participating in this years national elections, as those elected prepare to take the oath of office and transition the country from the sixth to the seventh administration. The mayor points out in her letter that the challenges being faced as a country are big, and therefore requires men and women who will put the interest of the country first and ensure that the developmental goals as outlined in the NDP 2030 are reached soon. Furthermore she extends her congratulations to her predecessor, Sofia Mosikatsi, former Executive Mayor of the JTG District, who will be amongst those taking oath of office soon in the National Assembly.
