The power utility Eskom announced that it will implement load reduction in several areas from today, the 10th of June 2024. Eskom says power cuts will be experienced during peak times from six in the morning to ten in the morning as well as four in the afternoon to ten in the evening in high-density areas. The power utility says the decision follows extensive efforts to encourage customers to use electricity sparingly.
