The second leg of the ZF Mgcawu rugby league started off rather disappointing for the DFC rugby club as the team fell short in a thrilling match against Upington Dorp, losing 34-30. The encounter which was played the past Saturday had a strong start and a late surge as the DFC team could not overcome the home team's lead. Team members who made a contribution to the score board includes:  Mervon Junior van Rooi with 2 tries, Thabanig Chinduro and Sipho Livingue 1 try respectively and Jayssle Freeman with 2 covertions and 2 penalties. Media liason of DFC Rugby Club, Marlon Losper has praised the fighting spirit and determination, vowing to build on the positives for the DFC’s next match.
