Members of the community
in ZF Mgcawu district welcomed the arrest of the minister of sport, arts and culture
Zizi Kodwa after he was arrested and appeared before the Palm Ridge magistrate’s
court on charges of corruption this week. According to information, his arrest
emanated from his relationship with former EOH executive Jehan Mackay who is
alleged to have channelled payments of over R1.6 million to him. He was released
on R30 000 bail and resigned with immediate effect. ANC spokesperson Mahlengi
Bhengu-Motsiri says the party’s constitution will kick in on such matters and the
step-aside will apply. Members of the community say the following . . .
