Runners in Kimberley are gearing up for the 97th Comrades Marathon set to take place this Sunday in KwaZulu-Natal. They will form part of the over 20,000 runners from all over the world that are expected to partake in the 85.91- km marathon. The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) has during a media briefing held yesterday indicated that the marathon will kick start at 5:30 am until 5:30 in the afternoon. The 97th Comrades Marathon will be the 49th Up Run on Sunday, 9 June 2024.
