The body of a deceased male found near Dakotaweg on June 3rd, 2024, has been identified by a family member as Christiaan Paulus from the Progress area. Police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela stated that a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death. She says the police appreciate the community’s assistance and caution the public to stay safe during cold nights by keeping warm and staying indoors whenever possible.
