The 2024 AVBOB road to literacy beneficiary announcement will take place on 13 June 2024.  The AVBOB Road to Literacy campaign, now in its third year is according to information in partnership with the Oxford University Press Southern Africa. It is reported that nominations for the Northern Cape has increased significantly from educational institutions across the province. Avbob states that this year’s R32, 5 million investment will deliver 500 trolley libraries filled with 500 books each – and all 11 official written languages represented – to deserving primary schools and education NPOs across South Africa. Submissions for nominations were open from 12 February to 30 March 2024.
