The
Dingleton Resettlement Project, has hit a significant milestone as Kumba Iron
Ore has handed over a newly constructed Siyathemba Police Station to the
community of Dingleton in the Northern Cape this month.
According
to a statement, since 2012 the project, a collaboration between Kumba Iron Ore,
the Dingleton community, the Northern Cape Provincial Government, and the
Gamagara Local Municipality, is a result of years of collaboration and
commitment to the community's well-being.
Kumba
Iron Ore acknowledges the support of various stakeholders, including the
Provincial SAPS, Gamagara Local Municipality, Northern Cape Provincial
Government, DMRE, and Department of Public Works, for the project's success
which aims to provide safety and security for the Siyathemba community.
