A 40-year-old Lesotho national was allegedly arrested in Kuruman on Saturday, 25 May 2024. The police says the suspect was arrested with dagga worth approximately R52 000. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Sergio Kock says the suspect was allegedly traveling from Vryburg en route to Kuruman when the police intercepted the silver Toyota Etios. Kock says the vehicle was searched on the N14 Road near Tzaneen village, and the 10kg Dagga was found and confiscated. He says the suspect will appear in court soon. The investigation continues.
