The community of Joe Morolong witnessed a historic event since the dawn of democracy yesterday in the area as the Mayor, along with the Council and Management of Joe Morolong Local Municipality, officially opened the Traffic Department wing, which will soon be operational. The municipality shared this event on their official social media and says the launch of this Traffic Department is part of an accelerated service delivery program aimed at providing local vehicle owners with a dedicated office for their needs. Furthermore the municipality provides that this initiative will offer numerous benefits to the community, including the enforcement of Traffic Laws, Ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and Improved Road Safety amongst other things. The municipality says that this new Traffic Department to them represents a significant advancement in local governance and community service, marking a milestone in the development and safety of Joe Morolong.
