The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in the Pixley ka Seme District area embarked on an Integrated Community Registration Outreach (ICROP) program to Strydenburg, Thembelihle Local Municipal area yesterday. According to an official statement by the district office the community engaged with all the departments present that comprised of Banking institutions, SAPS, IEC, Department of Affairs, Department Social Development, Department of Employment & Labour and Department of Health who rendered a range of services to the community. The municipality says the aim of this initiative was to ensure that the community has access to SASSA services, and in return, SASSA got an opportunity to conduct beneficiary education to empower clients/beneficiaries.
