The Joe Morolong Local Municipality leadership led by the Mayor Dineo Leutlwetse Tshabalala, the Speaker Violent Jordan, Exco Members, Ward Councillors and Kgosi-Kgolo Bareki convened a follow up community engagement in Heuningvlei , Ward1 yesterday. According to an official statement by the municipality this engagement follows an outcry by residents in the area regarding water challenges they experience in the area. The municipality says that with the engagement as a platform they provided a brief to the community with regards to the extra allocation for the water supply project which will be handed over to the community of Heuningvlei and surrounding villages worth more than R6 Million. The Mayor explained to the Community that the extra allocation will serve as an addition to the R 11Million water supply project which was handed over early in this year.
