Hungry Lions Football Club defeated the Platinum City Rovers 2-1 in a match played yesterday, May 19, 2024. With 42 points, Hungry Lion came in eighth place after what is said to have been a difficult game. Also yesterday locally, Upington City FC met the Casric Stars, a challenging match that resulted in a 0-0 draw. With 44 points, Upington City FC is currently ranked sixth. After all games yesterday, Magesi (57 points), University of Pretoria (49 points), and Baroka FC (47 points) round out the top 3.
