The Northern Cape Department of Education announced the distribution of tablets to Grade 10 and 11 students today, 17 May 2024, at Groblershoop High School in the ZF Mgcawu district. The department says the tablets, which are intended for students studying Mathematics, Physical Science, Geography, Life Science, Accounting, and Business Studies, come preloaded with high-value content, including study guides, video lessons, and animations. The department highlights that these resources are designed to enhance the learning experience by simplifying complex concepts. The department says furthermore, the tablets enable students to revise and consolidate knowledge independently, without the need for a teacher's presence. The Northern Cape education department says, the Edukite program, which requires no data, provides students with swift access to educational material, aiming to improve academic performance.
