The police in Upington are requesting the assistance of members of the community in locating a missing 63-year-old woman Fransiena "Dede" Tommy. Police spokesperson sergeant Omphile Masegela says Fransiena was allegedly last seen on the 3rd of May 2024 at CAPITEC bank near Shoprite in the Upington CBD with 2 women. Masegela says they were allegedly seen doing a bank transaction together and thereafter she left with them and has not returned home since. She says Fransiena was wearing a red blouse, blue denim jeans with blue sneakers. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
