The MEC for Cooperative Governance Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs in the Northern Cape Bentley Vass will lead a SOD-turning ceremony tomorrow in Nababeep, Nama Khoi, in the namakwa municipal area. Spokesperson for the department Babalwa Mzambo says this project forms parts of the R1 billion Housing Project as launched earlier this year by the President Cyril Ramaphosa to the benefit of all districts in the province. She says that through this project Nama Khoi will be allocated 143 houses in total. Mzambo says the ceremony will take place at the Hantam Local Municipality in Nababeep from 11:00 this morning and the second will take place on Thursday 16 May in Calvinia, Blikkiesdorp.
