The department of Sports, Arts and Culture in the Northern Cape says it conducted a social cohesion dialogue and information session in Tsineng Kuruman yesterday. According to a statement by the department, during this session, community members were given a full explanation of the Batho Pele principals and what they stand for. Residents were also informed about name changes and the methods by which they can obtain government services in their district. The department says information on South African customs, signs, and symbols was also covered in the session.
