Zwelitsha Mbongashe was sentence to 6 years imprisonment after being found guilty of statutory rape of a 15 year old girl in Fraserburg. According to a police statement, the rapes occured between the 1st of August 2022 and the 7th of March 2023. Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam says the court heard that the 25 year old Mbongashe had a 7 month intimate relationship with the victim until health officials discovered that the victim was pregnant and based on her age reported the matter to the police. Sam explains............."Insert" (FRASERBURG)
