The MEC of the department of cooperative governance human settlements and traditional affairs Bentley Vass will be handing over food parcels on two separate occasions this week. Babalwa Mzambo spokesperson from the department provides that the first of these handovers took place today in Calvinia at the VKG church in Brandvlei and will again be taking place to the benefit of residents in Sutherland at the Sutherland Sandla Siyanceda soup kitchen on Thursday 2 May 2024. Mzambo further adds that these food parcels were donated by the church of jesus christ of latter day saints in Namakwa.
