Godongwana: Fuel Relief Until 5 Jan

Breaking news from parliament - motorists will get fuel relief. In his mini – budget today, Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana announced the fuel levy will be cut from 4th November until 1st December, with a smaller cut until 5th January to help with holiday travel. The R10 billion cost will be covered by extra mining taxes. He also announced R10 billion to deal with any drought or disaster from El Nino, and a new fiscal anchor law to stop government overspending.
