Community members are urged to report all crimes to the police
Police urged community members to report all crimes t the nearest police station. Police spokesperson captain Ivan Charles Magerman says the district commissioner of the Namakwa district brigadier Schalk Andrews commended the police officials for their swift and decisive response to the information received from the community members. Magerman says Andrews also expressed his appreciation to the community for providing information that enables the police to disrupt the illegal drug trade. Andrews says drug dealers have no place to hide in the community members. He says they will continue to act on information received and ensure that those who profit from the illegal drug trade are brought before the courts. He urge community members to continue working with the police by reporting suspicious activities. SAPS in the Namakwa district remains committed to preventing and combating drug-related crimes and calls on members of the public to continue providing information to the police.
