GCIP SA Awards 2025: Celebrating Clean Tech Innovation in South Africa
The Global Clean Tech Innovation Programme South Africa (GCIP SA) will be recognising clean tech innovations at the GCIP SA Awards 2025. These awards highlight entrepreneurs focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste beneficiation, water efficiency, and green transport. The programme, funded by the Global Environmental Facility and managed by TIA, supports innovators through an accelerator that includes workshops, mentoring, and webinars.

This year’s awards are focused on renewable energy, water efficiency, and waste beneficiation, with renewable energy being the top sector.
The programme has also expanded efforts to involve underserved
communities by partnering with TVET colleges to promote STEM education and
interest in clean tech. Previous winners have gained business mentorship,
funding opportunities, and market access, allowing them to take their solutions
to market.
