Pixley ka Seme District Municipality Holds IDP Rep Forum in De Aar
The Pixley ka Seme District Municipality (PKSDM) held its IDP Rep Forum yesterday in De Aar, chaired by the Member of the Mayoral Committee, Cllr. Koos Gous, and joined by PKSDM Town Planner, Mr. Simon Baas, at the PKSDM Council Chambers.
The municipality’s IDP Rep Forum brought together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss and contribute to the development of the municipality's Integrated Development Plan (IDP). The IDP is a strategic plan that outlines the municipality's vision, goals, and objectives for the next five years.
The presentations for the day included an overview of the IDP by the District Municipality, a District Environmental Profile presented by DAERL, and a briefing on the Northern Cape Planning System from Provincial Treasury.
