Namaqua Police Seize Dagga Worth R12,000 in Drug Crackdown
The Namaqua District police have seized dagga worth approximately R12,000 as part of an ongoing effort to disrupt drug trafficking in the area. In a statemetn, the police says the operation was led by the Springbok Public Order Police C-Platoon, which conducted vehicle patrols, stop-and-search actions, and hotspot visits in Springbok and Nababeep between yesterday and today.
The statement further indicates that officers acted on tip-offs and discovered the dagga stashed near the N7 Road in Springbok.
The police says, while no arrests have been made yet, investigations are ongoing.
