The Tsantsabane local municipality Management led by the Municipal Manager Gaonyadiwe Mathobela and acting CFO Cassius Nkadimang together with Councilor De youngs Mienies and Councillor Dirk Esau held a meeting with the community of Stasie Ward 6 in the area yesterday. According to the municipality the purpose of this meeting was to discuss the issues of service payment and to reach a common ground on issues of service delivery. The municipality states that outcomes of this meeting include the community committing to pay services but adds that they also raised their concern regarding poor services at Station, and the level of unemployment amongst youth at the Station. The Municipality at their turn says to have pledged to improve on basic services, and to investigate the complaints regarding accounts and further encouraged the community to do the right thing by Paying for services while they also encourage members of community who qualify for indigent services to register at the Municipal offices.
