The African National Congress in Northern Cape recently conducted an essential induction session for the Parliamentary Constituency Offices (PCOs) under the 7th administration. The training focused on equipping PCO staff with the necessary tools and knowledge to execute their responsibilities efficiently, ensuring the smooth operation of the offices at the grassroots level. The induction session centered around the constituency governance model and procedural manual, which provide structured guidance for PCO operations. A statement indicates that participants were introduced to the core components of constituency work, with a strong emphasis on the importance of adhering to established principles to maintain effectiveness and efficiency. The party says, this initiative is in line with the ANC’s broader commitment to promoting accountable and engaged governance, ultimately strengthening the connection between elected officials and the citizens they serve.
