The Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality has issued a warning to community members and requests community members to refrain from purchasing a product called Galaxy Besto Delight Biscuits. The municipality says the product is currently being removed and detained for investigation until further notice as a precautionary measure. The municipality says the item is under investigation by Environmental Health Practitioners of the municipality in collaboration with the South African Police Services and further requests community members to Report any suspicious food items which may pose health threats to the public, to assess food items and refrain from buying items without labels, and Refrain from spreading misinformation or make false claims
