Former sports, arts and culture minister Zizi Kodwa welcomed the withdrawal of charges against him. The director of public prosecutions (DPP) withdrew corruption charges against Kodwa and his co-accused, ex-EOH executive Jehan Mackay. Kodwa was accused of receiving bribes worth R1.7 million from Mackay in exchange for government tenders. The charges were dropped after the pair made representations on the 1st November 2024. In light of these changes for Kodwa, residents in the ZFM district are of the opinion that Kodwa deserves a second chance. Community members say the following . . . "Insert" (COMMUNITY KODWA)
