The National Council of and for Persons Living with Disabilities, an NPO that makes significant contributions to shaping South Africa into a country where persons with disabilities have access to equitable opportunities and rights will this weekend begin engaging in their annual awareness program in observance of National Disability Rights Awareness Month which is observed from the 3 November to the 3 December. Radio Riverside spoke to Therine Wentzel a director of the organization, to find out the range of awareness programs they will be engaged in during the coming weeks including the nappy run on November 29, 2024 in Upington.
