The International Relations (IR) Roadshow on International Treaties and Obligations for Sport, Arts, Culture, and Heritage which started yesterday is concluded today 4 October, 2024, at the Garden Court Hotel in Kimberley. The National and Provincial Department of Sport, Arts & Culture collaborated on the event. The event is held under the theme "Moving Towards an Integrated Implementation of International Treaties, Conventions, and Instruments: A Sector-Wide Approach." To increase awareness of UNESCO programs and conventions ratified by South Africa, a number of stakeholders in the field, including the National Arts Council, the Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development and Land Reform, Galeshewe Youth Network, William Humphreys Art Gallery, and others are part of the session. The workshop's two-day goal, according to Tinyiko Khosa, Chief Director of IR, is to evaluate and guarantee that UNESCO strategies are implemented effectively at all governmental levels.
