The Airports
Company South Africa’s says the closing date for their Socio-Economic Development funding was
reached yesterday. ACSA, through its SED initiatives, seeks to improve the
quality of life by facilitating access to sustainable social and economic
opportunities. Airports Company South Africa's Socio-Economic Development
strategy broadly focuses on Education, Youth and Women Development, Persons
with Disabilities, Environmental Sustainability, Employee Volunteerism, and
Philanthropic Donations. This Socio-Economic Development (SED) funding will be
for programs or services in areas that include Community Development –
Education and Skills Development, Environmental Sustainability, and SMME
Support. ACSA stated that funding will be allocated based on priority according
to ACSA’s policy, procedures, and availability of funds.
