The South African Police Service says they have arrested several wanted suspects in all 5 districts of the province for crimes ranging from murder, attempted murder, robbery, assault amongst others this past weekend during the Operation Shanela. Police spokesperson Lieutenant colonel Sergio Kock says detective police traced 219 daily wanted suspects who have been evading the police while 178 persons were arrested for other serious crimes.
