A 34-year-old man from Galeshewe was sentenced to life imprisonment by Kimberley regional court on the of 8th July 2024. Police spokesperson colonel Cherelle Ehlers says an 11-year-old victim allegedly woke up in her bedroom when she felt the accused touching her in an indecent manner. Ehlers says the suspect dragged the victim to his bed and raped her. She says the suspect was declared unfit to possess a firearm and his name will be entered into the national register for sex offenders. Ehlers elaborates......    “Insert” (GALESHEWE)
