Coghsta in the province yesterday concluded a 2-day Working Session for the Pixley Ka Seme District and Local Municipalities on Governance and Administration. This working session is reported to have been attended by Municipal Managers, Directors: Corporate ,Human Resource Managers, Legal Services Managers/Officials, Administration of MPAC and Anti-Corruption officials. The department provides in an official statement that this was a session designed to enhance the capacity of municipal officials and intended to adress several key areas identified based on the latest reports as well as identified needs within Municipalities. Taking this purpose into account these session therefore covered Human Resources, the Secretariat of council, Governance Structures, Anti-Corruption and Policies and by-laws.
