The John Taolo Gaetsewe District will be hosts to the upcoming District Development Model (ddm) presidential imbizo. The DDM Presidential Imbizo is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 09 May 2024 at the Batlharos Sports Ground, Ga-Segonyana under the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality. The GCIS states that preceding the Imbizo a series of build-up outreach activities is rolled out led by Ministers, MECs and Mayors in parts of the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality and across the province as a whole. One of the various build up activites includes the launch of the Broadband project in De Aar, in the Pixley Ka Seme District.  The presidential Imbizo will commenced at 09: 00 on Thursday morning.
