The department of Roads and Public works has over the past month been conducting on the ground work and are implementing the Vala Zonke project through which they embark on a pothole repair initiative across the streets of the Northern Cape. Through the implantation of this initiative the department filled potholes in Sterling Street in Roodepan, earlier this morning and this past Friday. The department says, after the completion of the work in sterling street the project now currently continuing in Albatross Street in Roodepan in the Frances Baard Area, where potholes are repaired. The department says that this labor intensive initiative seeks to fix streets and roads, whilst creating a better life for citizens.
