The Pixley Ka Seme district commissioner Major general Nomana Mtukushe led Freedom Month celebrations in Strydenburg under the theme "30 years of democracy", partnership and growth yesterday, yesterday. Police spokesperson Lieutenant colonel Sergio Kock says the purpose of the event was to come up with ideas to minimize crime in the province. Kock says the messages of support were conveyed by the department of education and the warrior house of sober living home Rehab Centre. Kock says members of the community was entertained with a local trumpet show, the Pixley Ka Seme police district drill platoon and the Strydenburg Combined school choir.
