Northern Cape premier, Dr Zamani Saul is expected to deliver the keynote address during the provincial Freedom Day celebrations. The provincial celebrations will be held in Keimoes in the ZF Mgcawu District on Saturday, 27 April 2024. During these celebrations residents will have access to a wide range of government services. The provincial government states that these celebrations serves as an opportunity to honour the past, embrace the present and shape the future. This year's Freedom Month celebrations is held under the theme: “30 Years of Democracy, Partnership, and Growth, .This year’s celebrations is believed to be of special significance as it also coincide  with the 28th anniversary of the enactment of the South African Constitution as the supreme law of the country.
