Police arrested 7 suspects 2 women aged 20 and 23 and 4 men between the ages of 26 and 33 years old for illegal possession of drugs in Pampierstad on Saterday the 20th of April 2024. Police spokesperson sergeant Molefi Shemane says in another incident 1 man aged 31 was arrested for being in possession of a handmade firearm, possession of suspected stolen property and illegal possession of ammunition. Shemane says police confiscated drugs with an estimated value of R11 580-00 and money believed to be the proceeds of crime. He says all suspects are expected to appear at Pampierstad magistrate’s court soon.
